Overview
On the 11 day tour of Albania you will experience the culture and scenery of this incredible country. Starting in Tirana the capital city of Albania, then spend a few days in the north and to see the rugged mountains of the national park. From there it’s down south to sightsee by the sea before finishing with your last day in Tirana. This is a great way to see both major cities and take advantage of some the incredible Mediterranean climate that Albania has to offer. Tour Plan
Day 1
Arrival at airport at 11.00 AM, transfer to hotel in Tirana. Free day to explore the city.
Day 2
9:00 AM meeting at the hotel. Small Tirana city tour, then climbing Dajti mountain by cable car, after that enjoying a coffee at Farka lake with an amazing view. Return to the hotel.
Day 3
9:00 AM meeting at the hotel. Driving to Shkoder. Visiting Rozafa castle, city tour, Buna river and Venice Art Mask Factory . Sleeping in Shkodra.
Day 4
9:00 AM meeting at the hotel. Driving from Shkoder to Theth to visit Blue eye and spend time there. Sleeping in Theth.
Day 5
9:00 AM meeting at the hotel. Hiking Theth – Valbone (8 hours). Shala river – Koman lake. Sleeping in Shkoder.
Day 6
9:00 AM meeting at the hotel. Driving from Shkoder to Durres and on the way to Durres stopping in Lezhe and Kruje. Sleeping in Durres.
Day 7
9:00 AM meeting at the hotel. Driving from Durres to Vlora, to have a boat trip (10 am – 6 pm) Karaburun, Sazan. Sleeping in Vlora.
Day 8
9:00 AM meeting at the hotel. Driving from Vlora to Saranda. On the way to Saranda quick stops Llogara Pass, Borsh, Himare (Castle). Sleeping in Saranda.
Day 9
9:00 AM meeting at the hotel. Visiting Butrinti, Lekuresi and Ksamil. Sleeping in Saranda.
Day 10
9:00 AM meeting at the hotel. On the way back to Tirana stopping at Blue eye and Gjirokastra. Return to the hotel in Tirana.
Day 11
11:00 AM meeting at the hotel. Driving to Tirana International Airport.
